The Story behind Havilah
In 2017, Havilah Organics & Cosmetics was born out of a life-altering experience that transformed the vision of our CEO and founder, Jacquneil Spooner. Following a devastating motor vehicle accident, Jacquneil found herself paralyzed and facing an uncertain future. Her dream of joining the Jamaica Defence Force was shattered, and she was left searching for a new purpose.
As Jacquneil faced the challenges of paralysis and grappled with her own history of sensitive skin, she turned her attention to the world of organic cosmetics. Inspired by her personal journey, she envisioned creating high-quality products that would not only promote natural beauty but also provide a path to independence and empowerment.
With unwavering support and prayers from her late mother, devoted sister, and loving relatives, Jacquneil persevered. Over time, she defied the odds and regained mobility, now walking with little to no assistance. Though she still faces physical challenges, the birth of Havilah Organics & Cosmetics symbolized a new chapter filled with infinite possibilities.
